Mardi Gras

A little early for Mardi Gras which isn't until the 28th but The Villages is having celebrations in the town squares so we went to Lake Sumter Landing this afternoon. Today was my semi-annual trip to the Gainesville VA hospital to meet with my oncologist and refill my prescription. All is well and my blood numbers continue to be perfect. Alesa has been looking for a pair of comfortable tennis shoes for use on the platform tennis court. We looked in a number of sport stores in Gainesville but none of them carried tennis shoes. We stopped in Ocala on the way home and after a few stops finally found a pair she liked at Dick's. Alesa is doing very well and is slowly resuming normal activity.
