Zion National Park

Passed our hotel in Kanab early enough to head off to Zion. We entered the east gate and drove through the park to the visitors center at the main entrance just out of Springdale, Utah. It was a beautiful drive and at the visitors center we boarded a shuttle to tour the part of the park where only they are allowed to drive. Very majestic scenery at a unique place. Then back to Kanab to our hotel for a very deserved rest. The drive from Flagstaff through northern Arizona and southern Utah is filled with awe inspiring scenery. The pictures don't do the grandeur justice.
