Mount Dora
June 5, 2016
Spent the day in Mount Dora for the dragon boat races. Alesa's team, the Silver Dragons, won the gold for their division as well as the gold and a trophy for the Lake County challenge. It was a beautiful and fun day in Mount Dora which is like a miniature Chautauqua. Friday we participated in the neighborhood best-ball scramble with 80 or so neighbors. It was a random pairing so Alesa and I played with a fun couple from Puerto Rico. We had a great time and shot 3 under par for 9 holes and got the runner-up trophy. Ordered Alesa (and me) an electric violin due to be delivered on Tuesday so we will be busy learning a new instrument. Also looking forward to Bailey and Bridget's visit on June 20th. W have them signed up to try dragon boating as part of 'Camp Villages'.
