After breakfast we took the S-bahn to central station and checked on tomorrow's train to Amsterdam. We bought tickets for the hop-on/hop off bus and went on a 2 hour tour of the major and not so major sights. We were on the top of an open bus and it was comfortable, the weather has been great. We took a bus back to our room for a recharge and to find a place for lunch. The hotel was not much help as they only knew ethnic restaurants and we wanted German. I remembered seeing a hofbrau house on the map at one of the on/off bus stops. So we navigated the transit system to the TV tower. Voila, we found the hofbrau house and the food and beer was great. Getting late so we got on the on/off bus to tour the lighted city at night. We did get off once to see the US embassy next to the Brandenburg gate. (116 pictures)
