Still sky high from the Eagles win. Yesterday we went to the Putt N'Play in the village of Fenney. It's an 18 hole putting course on real grass with par 2, 3 and 4s (I think). Most holes are very long with serious dog-legs and plenty of elevation changes.

Sorry that Phil saw his shadow this morning but, take heart, he is usually wrong. Had an eye appointment at the VA this morning. It's been about 8 years since my last appointment and nothing has changed.

Got up this morning to see this special moon, first time in 150 years. Super because it is closer to the earth than usual so it is brighter and larger. Full because it was a full moon. Snow because that was what the Indians called the second full moon of the year.

Our friends, the Ipps, rent out their house for 3 months every winter and travel. This year they rented a cottage on Lake Weir in Ocklawaha for two months and then will be in Gainesville for the last month.

It has been cold for the last few days, going into the low 40's and high 30's at night but usually into the 70's during the day. But, last night it got down to 28 for our first hard freeze of the season. Alesa had a plant in a glass water on the lanai and much of the water froze.

Been busy the last few days planning a Viking River Cruise up the Rhine River from Basel to Amsterdam with another trip at the end, probably to Scandinavia. Today we made a deposit for a trip in October with Steve and Laura. Yesterday was the January Erie Club meeting.

Yesterday, we met with our insurance woman and she put Alesa in a new Supplemental plan. And, today, after a morning of shopping we had our picture taken for the paper and picked up the TV we won during a visit to a medical office grand opening.

We are back to golf today. It got to 40 last night, to 64 today and it was 54 and sunny when we went out at 10. It was a fun day but not a good day for golf, as I think I was in every sand trap on the course.

It is cold outside, for Florida. Getting to 30 overnight and warms into the 50s during the day. After tomorrow it should get into the 70s during the day and into the 50s at night. Played tennis and platform tennis yesterday so we are getting back into activities.
